Our Story

Step Back in Time to the Heyday of This Popular Pocono Retreat

Formerly known as Memorytown USA, our 200-acre resort has played a special part of people’s lives since the 1850s. Once a popular ski and summer resort destination during the heyday of the Poconos, its historic barns now serve as celebration spaces for weddings and private events, and the vintage cabins and guest rooms have all been renovated to provide modern amenities, while maintaining their rustic charm. Anthony Maula, along with the help of family, took over the property in 2012, and have been working to restore it and re-establish it as a popular attraction in the Poconos. We invite you to visit our Pocono hotel for some well-deserved rest, relaxation, romance and fun in the Pennsylvania mountains.

Grange Valley’s check-in time is 4 PM, and check-out by 10 AM.

Pets are not allowed in any of our accommodations or event buildings. Pets are welcome on our patio at The Water’s Edge restaurant, if properly leashed. Legitimate service dogs are welcome property wide.

We offer The Water’s Edge restaurant and bar for year-round dinners and drinks. There are several other restaurants within a short drive to Grange Valley. We also suggest purchasing any food that you want to keep in your room prior to your arrival, as we do not currently have a general store or café.

At Grange Valley, guests can hike or bike on miles of trails, take an ATV tour, use our pickleball court (equipment rental is extra), or just enjoy the serenity of our lakeside, wooded setting. View our area guide to plan your itinerary.
